Sponsored by The Center for Science, Technology and Society, NetHope (more than 30 of the world’s leading humanitarian organizations), and The Tech Awards (honoring technology benefiting humanity).
Participants will include representatives of more than 30 leading global NGOs, prominent technology corporations, funding organizations, and the University community. In addition, you will have the opportunity to meet the 2010 Tech Award Laureates and hear about their award winning innovations for social benefit.
Through keynote addresses, a panel discussion, showcases, and presentations, we will explore how technology innovations can reach a broader number of beneficiaries for maximum social impact. Microsoft, Intel, and Accenture ADP and their partners will present "Solutions Showcases," demonstrating how various sectors can collaborate to improve the lives of the underserved through the use of technology.
A reception at the end of the day will give you the opportunity to meet presenters, Tech Laureates and participants for networking and engaging conversation. This one-of-a-kind gathering brings together partners who are driven by large-scale social impact and who can leverage one other's expertise to make it happen. By sharing successful models, capturing ideas that work, and searching for new ways to partner, we hope to accelerate the scaling and adoption of innovative technology solutions to create social benefit.
