- At "Playing with Ethics: A Panel on Video Games," a public event sponsored by the Santa Clara University Center for Science, Technology, and Society and Markkula Center for Applied Ethics, Susan Leigh Star, CSTS Scholar, introduced the session by covering some basic areas of ethical issues that relate to video games. These included the question of gaming addictions, the possibility of teaching violence, and the stereotyping rampant in video games.
