Center Scholarship
The Center for Science, Technology, and Society brings together faculty scholars from across campus, disciplines, schools, and departments to collaborate and engage in research. Through high-quality academic research and innovative action research projects, the Center seeks to generate knowledge and also to influence the future design and effective use of technology. To understand multi-faceted human systems, the investigation is organized into three interdisciplinary program areas: Economic and Social Development, Innovation and Organizational Change, and Law and Public Policy. In each of these areas, a cadre of faculty colleagues is engaged in rigorous and groundbreaking inquiry that extends beyond the constraints of the traditional organization of knowledge.
