The Global Social Benefit Incubator™ is anchored by an intensive two-week residential program held each August at Santa Clara University in California.  The residential program culminates with formal business plan presentations to Silicon Valley entrepreneurs and venture capitalists.  A tactical plan for implementation is enacted once participants complete the in-residence program.  After seven years, our educational network has grown into a dynamic and evolving community of individuals and organizations.  All are committed to advancing the work of social entrepreneurs and their ventures around the world.  

Living and learning together, attendees work together to develop conceptual skills and build a community.  This is an essential component of effective peer-to-peer collaboration.  Practical knowledge and skills are developed in marketing, finance, business models, and organizational capacity building.  This classroom instruction is complimented by carefully matched mentoring focused on addressing the specific challenges facing each participating organization.    

Ongoing collaboration will be possible virtually using a distance-learning platform for ongoing monitoring, support and knowledge sharing after the residential program.  Through these efforts, we are committed to empowering social entrepreneurs to accelerate the financially sustainable growth of their enterprises.  We believe that this makes the GSBI™ a transformational program for people with the power and vision to change the world.
