Science, Technology, and Human Values

– the Flagship Journal of the Society for Social Studies of Science

As scientific advances improve our lives, they also complicate how we live and react to the new technologies. More and more, changes in human values intersect knowledge production practices, and come into conflict with scientific advancement as we deal with important issues such as nuclear power, environmental degradation, and information technology.

Overseen by Managing Editor Katie Vann, Science, Technology, and Human Values is an international journal that publishes peer-reviewed, international, interdisciplinary research, analyses and commentary on the development and dynamics of science and technology, including their relationship to politics, society and culture. The journal provides emerging work from scholars in a diverse range of disciplines across the social sciences, including Political Science, Sociology, Environmental Studies, Anthropology, Literature, History, Economics, and Philosophy.
