Dr. Chaz Holder, President and BioMedical Engineer of CZBioMed was honored as the winner of the Knight Ridder Equality Award at the first annual Technology Benefiting Humanity Awards in November 2001 for furthering human equality through his work in the development of prosthetic limbs adapted for use in developing countries.
