The Center for Science, Technology and Society is proud to host the 43rd annual meeting of the Society for History of Technology (SHOT). An interdisciplinary organization with 2000 individual members and 1500 institutions around the world, SHOT is concerned with the history of technological devices and processes and the relations of technology to science, politics, social change, the arts and humanities, and economics.
