Training Program Opportunities
The Training Site At CAPS our mission is to support and enhance the personal, educational, and professional growth of the Santa Clara University community. We do this by providing direct psychological services as well as outreach programming, screening, and consultation. Our services are coordinated and housed with the Cowell Health Center. We currently have a diverse staff of licensed mental health practitioners (clinical psychologists and marriage and family therapists) working with a variety of theoretical orientations. We mainly work within a short-term therapy model. A limited number of clients can be seen on a longer- term basis for optimal training and professional growth opportunities. We have both predoctoral intern and advanced practicum placements available for the 2010-2011 training year. For our practicum trainees, we require an academic year commitment beginning in September and ending in June. Our practicum program is a member of BAPIC and follows BAPIC training and application guidelines. Our Location: |
