Extensive research revealed several effective leadership training models design to address the difficult dialogue, while other models addressed hate crimes and equity issues. The committee found that the fundamental work of creating an environment at SCU, where students feel safe to speak out and express their views does not ccurrently exist in any one model and therefore drew from multiple models to create a program unique to our campus. Perspectives was developed to address SCU's specific needs. |
