Vidalino Staley Raatior, M.A.Assistant Director, Study AbroadHaving been trained as a Jesuit for 10 years, Vid brings a passion for Jesuit education to his student advising role at the office. Originally from the Pacific island nation of Micronesia, Vid began his career at Santa Clara in 1998 as the International Student Advisor at the Student Resource Center (now, morphed into the Drahmann Advising & Learning Resources Center). He is better known on campus for the 4 years he later served as the Associate Director of the Center for Multicultural Learning (now, Multicultural Learning Office), a role in which he was awarded the Staff Recognition Award.As the Assistant Director for Study Abroad, Vid is responsible for the overall recruitment and advising of students in regards to study abroad opportunities. As an international person, Vid enjoys advising students from the personal experience of living and studying abroad. |
