I chose to study here given my previous studies and knowledge of Spanish. I wanted to choose a city where I knew the language and could immerse myself in the culture. Finally, the students returning from IES Barcelona had great things to say about it.

I have learned many things about myself while abroad, especially about how much I value those that are not with me right now, especially my family and close friends. Being abroad has taught me to value those that I have around me, because they may not always be there. I have realized who the closest people in the world to me are and have let them know so. I have also seen how lucky we are to have this opportunity to travel and study here.
Academically, I have gained valuable knowledge of the European Union and business practices in other countries from professors who have first-hand knowledge. It has enhanced my curriculum and ability to successfully achieve and use an international business minor.

I would recommend students to take advantage of their opportunity to travel the world and learn all about it. Also, to keep close with those important to them and remember to be grateful for the chance that they have been given.
