For my study abroad experience I wanted to completely immerse myself in the country I chose. I was really attracted to the holistic learning experience offered at the Casa and combination of classroom and praxis education.

All things in the Casa are connected so texts I read or essays I write usually are related to my personal experiences.  This has helped me to really examine my life previous to this experience and how I want to improve my life for the future.  The dynamics of El Salvador are so different from the US and that has really forced me to put my lifestyle in perspective.

Go for it! You only have a limited amount of time in this country so you want to experience as much of it as you can.  Your time abroad will probably be one of your favorite memories so really savor each moment and each new friend and immerse yourself in new experiences.
