Casa de la Solidaridad - Alex Thome's Alumni Update

Casa de la Solidaridad

Alumni Update: Alexander Thome

Term: Studied Casa in Fall 2003
Graduated from Santa Clara University '04

Current Work/Volunteer Position: Part-time jobs that are far too much fun for the ridiculous money I make (i.e. waiting tables, tutoring Spanish, bartending) as well as volunteering with the Bay Area Rescue Mission.

Update: Since graduation I've unlearned all that excess work ethic I had picked up over the years. Now I'm mastering relaxation and probably getting too comfortable. I'm working a few fun jobs to save some money and kill time while I research NGOs in Tijuana, where I'll be moving in October. Because of the selfish existence I've created for myself, and because I feel a little more stupid as each day passes, I'll be spending a few days a week in Richmond, CA cooking, serving food, and helping out at the Bay Area Rescue Mission until I leave.
