International Exchange Program

About the Exchange Program

The Exchange Program is a unique study abroad program with several international universities, usually Catholic, Jesuit institutions sharing a common mission bond. Students from these participating universities send their students to study at Santa Clara and we in turn send our students to their campus to study. It's a direct exchange built upon mutually agreed upon terms.

Students who are interested in participating in the Exchange Program must be approved by their home university's international programs office prior to applying to Santa Clara University. They must meet their own home university's eligibility requirements before we can review their application to Santa Clara. Only students from the following schools are qualified to apply to participate in the Exchange Student Program at Santa Clara:

  • Ateneo de Manila University (Philippines)
  • Lund University (Sweden)
  • Sophia University (Japan)
  • University of the Sacred Heart (Japan)
  • Australia Catholic University (Australia)
  • Simon Fraser University (Canada)
  • Universidad Alberto Hurtado (Chile)
  • Universite Catholique de Lille (France)
  • Universita degli Studi di Firenze (Italy)
  • Universidad Iberoamericana Puebla (Mexico)

International students from non-participating schools are encouraged to apply through the appropriate admissions office at Santa Clara.
