Helpful resources, forms, and procedures for advising study abroad students.

    List of study abroad courses that have been pre-approved by Department Chairs. This online database is managed by Lori Johnson at the Drahmann Center.

  • iconHow to Apply: 4-Step Process

    Students are required to follow a 4-step process of researching for program options, petitioning to study abroad, applying for an approved program, and preparing for the experience.

  • iconAcademic Adviser Approval Form

    Students are required to get academic advising and approval from their assigned faculty adviser. Please use this form to advise your student and when satisfied please sign it and give it back to the student to submit with their study abroad applications.

  • iconStudy Abroad Course Approval Form

    Students use this form to get their abroad courses approved by the appropriate Department Chair to full Santa Clara equivalent requirements.

    Please use this form to search all the approved program options in which students can fulfill major, minor, or core requirements. This online database is updated regularly so please consult it for the approved program locations.

  • iconEligibility Requirements

    All study abroad applicants are required to meet the eligibility requirements before they can be cleared to apply to a study abroad program.
