Accommodations in London
Students live in a number of impressive student residences within a few minutes walk from Foundation House which houses the central offices, faculty offices, and classrooms. Housing residences are all based in historic and charming Kensington and just a few minutes walk from Foundation House Study Centre. Students may request roommates, but final housing placement will be made by FIE staff. Options where you may be placed include:
Metrogate
This large 111-bed well-equipped residence was created from three nineteenth century town houses and is located just eight minutes walk from Foundation House and three minutes from the amenities of Gloucester Road. Metrogate houses the main computer facility, and also has a fully equipped instructional kitchen. Across the road from Metrogate lie Imperial College and the Sports Centre.
Manson Place
Manson Place is a townhouse in the heart of South Kensington. It has a variety of accommodation ranging from 2 bed to large multi-bedroom apartments. This residence is in easy walking distance of both the Foundation House study centre and other FIE residences.
Hyde Park Gate
This impressive townhouse comprises of five spacious apartments overlooking Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. The superb residence is very convenient for Foundation House as well as the busy shopping area of High Street Kensington.
Queen's Gate
The Queen’s Gate House comprises of only 7 apartments, each with fully furnished kitchens, bathroom(s), lounge/dining area with TV, as well as wireless access.
