Program description:

SFS operates centers in Australia (Rainforest Studies), Baja Mexico (Coastal Studies), Turks & Caicos/Caribbean (Marine Resource Studies), Costa Rica (Sustainable Development), and Kenya (Wildlife Management).

SFS incorporates hands-on, community-focused environmental field work with earning college credit in some of the most beautiful and threatened ecosystems in the world. Many of the courses offered through School for Field Studies are accepted for direct credit through the Biology & ENVS departments at SCU, and many faculty members from our science departments have visited the various sites.
