Program description: Loyola University Chicago (a Jesuit school) operates this program (“an American campus transplanted to a European milieu”) in the pleasant suburban Monte Mario neighborhood of Rome. You can study at the Loyola Rome Center for a semester or a year. Courses are available in a variety of areas, including Classics, Religion, Economics, Italian, Art History, Philosophy, and Political Science. Housing is located in dormitories on the Loyola campus in Rome. NEW Requirement: (effective October 22, 2007) - ONE Quarter of Italian Language OR
- ONE of the following: ANTH 03 - Introduction to Cultural Anthropology, POLI 2 - Introduction to Comparative Politics, POLI 25 - Introduction to International Relations, World Geography, or 5) Participation in an approved summer program in Italy.
