Program Highlights
Affiliated program options usually include two models of program experiences: 1) “Island Programs” involve placing American study abroad students into Study Centers overseas and teaching them a variety of courses in the American system. Usually there are no local students taking the courses offered in these study centers so students the immersion experiences happen outside of the classroom in homestays or social settings. Some providers do enable students to take 1-2 courses in local universities. 2) “Direct Enroll Programs” place American students directly into local universities. Participants will generally have the entire university's course offerings.
