Standards of Conduct

 

Study abroad students are held to the same standards of conduct found in the Student Handbook Student Life Student Handbook and in the Policies and Procedures section of the Study Abroad Office website. In addition, students abroad are held to standards of conduct set by the host institution, program provider and host country. Students are expected to follow-up guidelines about culturally appropriate conduct and should confer with on-site staff about local practices.

The host institution or program provider program may, at their discretion, impose disciplinary measures or dismissal from the program if a student’s behavior is found to be damaging to the program, institution, student him/herself or other students. In the case of dismissal, determinations on credits, grades and finances will be made by Study Abroad in consultation with the overseas program. See Withdrawal Policy, Process & Schedule.
