  This month-to-month timeline is helpful for students who want to plan ahead for the study abroad application process. 

• Eligibility Requirements

  Study abroad applicants must be in good standing with the University at all times. Find out the specific terms of the University's study abroad eligibility requirements. 

• Cost & Aid

  Study abroad students are charged the standard SCU tuition plus a program fee based on the study abroad location. Review the pricing list for all the approved study abroad programs.
  
  

• Pre-Approved Courses

  Search our online database of study abroad courses that have been pre-approved to fulfill certain major, minor, core, or elective requirements at SCU.
  
  

• Program Options

  Find the best program for you in more than 160 campuses in over 40 countries with a variety course offerings, housing options, academic and language requirements.
  
  
  

• Application Deadlines

  Students are required to submit all application packets to the International Programs Office by these deadlines to guarantee timely decisions.
  
  

• How to Apply

  Are you ready to apply? Get a final checklist of recommended steps to take before filling out forms,  links to the required Petition to Study Abroad form, other program-specific application forms, submission instructions, and other important advisory.
  
  

• Application Forms

  Download or connect to online application forms including the required Petition to Study Abroad and program-specific application forms for all approved study abroad program providers.

• Student Agreements

  Completion of the respective Student Agreement form is required for all participants in the University study abroad programs. Download the appropriate Student Agreements for your review before signing off on the Petition to Study Abroad form.

  Link to all the Group Apply Sessions, preparation workshops, and other events specifically aimed to help prepare study abroad students.
