IES Rome Fall 09 Students Required to Participate in SCU Rome Honors Program

Saturday, Feb. 21, 2009

This is a revised policy from the February 10, 2009 email announcement of the SCU Rome. Due to the continued efforts to manage cost as per the Provost’s announcement, all students who were approved for the standard IES Rome Fall program are now REQUIRED to participate in the SCU Rome customized program. Participants will be charged a reduced price (Price Level I), assigned to the IES student apartments housing option, take 3 courses with an option of a fourth internship course (required for Honors students), and enjoy the same student and academic services provided by the IES Rome Center. We are informing you now of this decision so you can plan accordingly. If you wish to extend your Fall program to the new Winter quarter in Rome before returning to campus for the Spring quarter you certainly have first priority on that option.  You do not need to do anything other than the normal process indicated in Step 3: Apply (http://scu.edu/studyabroad/applying/index.cfm#apply). We look forward to receiving your IES documents during the first week of March. Below please find the SCU Rome program summary and other helpful tips.
