The Forge is half-acre community and education garden, one block from the SCU campus. The Forge is a project of Bronco Urban Gardens (BUG). Bronco Urban Gardens (BUG), an environmental justice initiative, is a partnership between Santa Clara University's Environmental Studies Institute and the Silicon Valley HealthCorps. The goal of the program is to increase community food security, sustainability and environmental literacy in Santa Clara Country through the co-creation and technical support of urban gardens and garden education programs.
