 Eco-Fashion Show Workshops 1/14, 1/21, 1/22

Posted on Monday, Jan. 13, 2014

Three designer workshops will be hosted for those creating pieces for the 2014 Eco-Fashion Show. Each workshop will be a 30 minute skill session followed by open work time. Feel free to come by for the skill session or stop in after the first half hour for open shop time. Held in the Varsi Conference Room 207, 2nd floor.

1) Tuesday, January 14th, 12:00-2:00 pm {inspiration, sewing and design basics}
2) Tuesday, January 21st, 12:30 pm-2:00 pm {intermediate skill set, still led by Barbara Murray}
3) Wednesday, January 22nd, 12:00 pm-2:00 pm {inspiration, sewing and design basics}

Workshops 1 and 3 will cover inspiration, sewing and design basics, including how to use a sewing machine for those interested. Both of these will cover the exact same things, so please come to whichever one works best for your schedule. Workshop 2 will be led by Barbara Murray, Costume Designer and Chair for the Department of Theater and Dance and will be a more intermediate skill set, specifics TBA.

Attendance at the workshops is not required to be in the show, but this is a good time to meet other designers, see some materials that are available and learn more about creating your own fashion!
