Students can now apply to be SCU's Recycling Intern.
This position is through Facilities Recycling and Waste, and works closely with the office of Sustainability. The intern will be the recycling and waste management expert on campus, responsible for communicating instructional and educational information to the campus community. Other tasks for this intern include maintaining current activities and programs that promote proper waste disposal on campus, designing new programs, and advancing the University's efforts to divert waste.
Anyone who either has a familiarity with (or willingness to learn about) concepts associated with conservation, recycling, waste management and sustainability are welcome to apply. Desirable skills include experience communicating with a variety of people, ability to conduct research, and experience with word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and photo editing software.
