  •  SCU Awarded Prestigious Business Environmental Award

    Santa Clara University recently received one of the highest 2014 Acterra Business Environmental Awards, the Acterra Award for Sustainability under the Large Organization category. Santa Clara was recognized for its environmental initiatives, social benefits, influence on the business community, and commitment to sustainability.

    The Neighborhood Prosperity Initiative provides students with a unique opportunity to gain hands-on business experience. The goal is that the organizations and businesses that NPI works with learn just as much from Leavey School of Business students as the students learn from the organizations.

    Bottled Water Free Law Commencement, 2014.
    This year marks the first annual Bottled Water Free Commencement at SCU for Law, Grad, and Undergrad ceremonies, as well as the Alumni Picnic. Santa Clara will be joining dozens of schools across the nation in eliminating unnecessary waste, and promoting our sustainability and social justice values.
