"They told us if we got married in the Mission Church, we HAD to give every year! Plus we promised Dr. Ushman we'd donate if we got A's in managerial accounting... Seriously though, we believe in the value of educating the heart and the mind, and we support the idea that all students should have access to a Catholic education. SCU gave us each so much, giving is our way of saying thanks."

Megan (Howarth) Billinger and Brent Billinger
"We are proud to be a part of the SCU family and would like to see continued growth and development for the school, along with a strong national recognition. We also support the Jesuit belief that students should have equal access to the education they truly desire, regardless of finances. We want to be a part of providing opportunities for the next generation of Broncos."

Jim Burns
"As a proud Bronco alum, I was thrilled when my oldest child, Ryan, decided to join Santa Clara last year. Ryan loves his Santa Clara experience. He has so many talented classmates from all over the country who could never afford to attend without the help of alumni support. As a witness to the many students who will do great things in life as a result of their SCU experience, I encourage each of you to donate to the extent that you are able to. Together we can make a difference."

Tanya (Monsef) Bunger
“Santa Clara made me who I am today and I support the school so students from every financial background can have access to the same education I did.”

Kathleen (Day) Dorais and Norm Dorais
“As the recipients of scholarships ourselves, we are grateful to the people who gave to Santa Clara all those years ago. We hope that we, too, can make a difference in some student’s life, and help them have that wonderful experience that we had at Santa Clara.”

Heidi (Knauf) Finan
“Because I was a recipient of an SCU scholarship, I have a strong desire to give back and help students pursue their academic goals. Contributing this way enables me to continue the "Santa Clara Experience" through others. Whether you give a modest amount or make a larger contribution, providing a financial gift will positively impact others. Collectively, the class of 1986 can make a difference to SCU students.”

Marianne (Lynch) Fraher and Dennis Fraher
"It doesn't feel as if it could have been 25 years ago when we were Broncos ourselves. Our two sons are currently attending Santa Clara and they couldn't be happier! It is truly wonderful to be part of a second and third generation legacy. We have connected with many alumni back on campus who also have children attending SCU. During these recent economic times, we are especially aware of the needs of many students who would otherwise not be able to attend Santa Clara without financial aid from alumni and we are grateful to be able to provide assistance."

Alex Laymon
“For better or worse, SCU helped shape all of us into the people we are today. I believe most of us think we turned out OK, and we are proud to tell friends and colleagues that we attended SCU. In 25 years, I would like current SCU students to feel the same way we do. If my gift can help a student attend the school or make SCU a better place, then I am happy to donate”

Andy Russick
“I give because the ghost of Matson Haley haunts me when I am tight with my donations to his memory!”

Stacey (Pruett) Taddeucci
“As I look at my daughter who is a senior this year at SCU, I see many of her friends who receive scholarships and think how it was all made possible by alums like us who continue to give. These are great kids who have been given an opportunity for an amazing experience and without our help, SCU would truly be the one missing out."

Maria (Taddeucci) von Massenhausen and Arnie von Massenhausen
“Having a Freshman Bronco, we understand what the current need is in order to send a student to Santa Clara and we appreciate the opportunities that a Santa Clara ‘experience’ and education provide young people. We consider ourselves blessed to have an opportunity to help others along the way… we will never be able to do enough!”
