Testers Needed for PeopleAdmin Online Recruiting (May 28, 2013)

Good afternoon,

As you know, we are close to rolling out the PeopleAdmin Online Recruiting module. Of course, we need to test the system to make sure that it is constructed optimally. We need your help in this validation process. We have taken a first pass at the system but need expert users to assist us in testing the system. We are on a tough timeline so we can train and get up and running as soon as possible so we need to jump in now. We would like you to come to one - 2 hour testing session the week of June 3. I know – the last week of classes – but we need to keep moving. There are 3 times to select from on the linked spreadsheet below (just add your name to the one that works for you). Please click on the link and sign in. Agustin Ruiz will coordinate each session. You will be asked to adopt various roles – applicant, search chair, dean, etc. so we can test all aspects of the system. You may also test faculty, staff and student processes. We ask that you have patience as we move through this process and give us your honest and tough feedback so we can rollout a system that will be highly effective and as bug-free as possible. Please keep in mind, we will be learning, adapting and modifying the system throughout this testing process and throughout the next year. It will take time to optimize the system. Thank you for your time and willingness to help test the system at this early stage.

New online recruiting system for staff and faculty searches

Happy New Year!

We hope you had the opportunity to enjoy a relaxing holiday with family and friends. Welcome back as we begin a new academic term.

We are pleased to announce that on or before April 1, 2013, Santa Clara University will launch an online recruiting system designed by PeopleAdmin for higher education. This system will streamline our recruiting, selection and hiring processes to improve efficiencies in these processes and to help us hire the best internal and external talent for all staff and faculty positions. The recruiting portal will provide the following functionalities to search committees and hiring managers:

An easy-to-use and interactive web portal-like interface
Streamlined automated processing for the recruitment function
Direct and consistent communication with applicants
Real-time reporting

During the implementation and deployment phases, we will be providing you with more information about testing, training, the launch of PeopleAdmin and your role during the transition.

This initiative is critical to the advancement of our recruiting, selection and hiring processes. We look forward to your active participation and value your commitment to making our transition to PeopleAdmin as success.
