Francisco Jimenez Receives 2009 Carter G. Woodson Book Award

Professor Francisco Jimenez (Modern Languages and Literatures) has received the 2009 Carter G. Woodson Book Award for his book Reaching Out. The award is intended to encourage the writing, publishing, and dissemination of outstanding social studies books that treat topics related to ethnic minorities and relations sensitively and accurately.
