Congratulations! Hooria won a $2,500 grant to support work on her project entitled, " Mindfulness Meditation: Cultivating Compassion, Wisdom, and Moral Development in Santa Clara University Graduate Students."

Katie Rice is a Santa Clara Alum from the class of 2004 and currently is enrolled in the Counseling Psychology program.

Katie is one of the 2008 Ignatian Award Recipients. The SCU Alumni Association recognizes two to five alumni each year for their service to the community. Find out more about past recipients and how to nominate others.
