Roommates and Spring Fun!!

Hello again!!!

Wow! I cannot believe how much time has passed since I updated this. It feels like just yesterday!! The weather has been so beautiful and I have been so busy. Spring Quarter is officially my favorite quarter of all. Except that I have been crazy busy!!! There’s so much going on! Santa Clara had a great celebration for Earth Day with a lot of cool little things. Some of my friends climbed a rock wall. It was great to watch them! I haven’t done that in several years and figured I would break something if I wasn’t careful!!!

They did have these really cool peace items that accepted donations. I bought one. it was clay and I am wearing it around my neck right now!!

I have finished up with just about all my midterms and it’s almost time for finals I cannot believe that. I signed up for one session of Summer Quarter. It’s amazing how easy it is to fill core requirements at Santa Clara. I will be filling my ethics and lab science requirement. This allows me to take more Classical Studies courses! Yay!

I have also declared a second major in English! I am going to try to design my own concentration for English in Classical Studies. That way I can be even more familiar with the classical literature.

I have met so many new people the last few weeks. Today I had lunch and Frozos with my new friend Felix. He told me all about the Core retreats. Core is a Christian group on Campus and I have never been on a retreat. I think it would be fun to give it a shot!

Tomorrow I am going with my potential suitemates – Marlys, Jackie, and Allie to pick what room we want to live in – in Sobrato!!! I’m so excited!!!!!
