ARDs assist with the development and implementation of a student development program that reflects the Jesuit mission of the University, namely development of the whole person. ARDs contribute to the development of a community of scholars in their RLC by assisting the academic and personal development of residents and Community Facilitators (CFs), advising Community Council, supervising service desk operations, assisting in RLC operations, and by promoting and supporting an inclusive environment in which differences are thoughtfully explored. Additionally, ARDs are expected to know and uphold University policies and community standards, effectively respond to and manage emergency / crisis situations via participation in campus-wide duty rotation, work collaboratively to build community, mentor staff, and role model responsible citizenship in the RLC and on and off campus.

Interested in applying? Please read all the materials in Part 1 of the application and complete and turn in Part 2 of the application by Tuesday January 5th at noon in the Housing and Residence Life Office located in Benson 212.

Winter Break Housing Requests

We will be able to offer limited housing over the winter break period. Only international students with travel restrictions and intercollegiate athletes whose sport will be competing during the break period are eligible to apply for break housing; however, eligibility does not guarantee approval. Given space constraints, only a limited number of students will be approved for Winter break housing. Housing over the winter break period will cost $215.00 per week. All students who will be staying over the break period will be housed with roommates in St. Clare hall. All other residence halls will be closed. Residents of St. Clare hall must still apply and be approved to stay over the break period and will be responsible for all charges. Because space is limited, only those students who fill out a form on-time will be considered.
