Welcome to Technology Training

Technology Training is dedicated to delivering software training and support to Santa Clara students, faculty, and staff. We offer offer several learning formats including classes, open lab hours, consultations, and web help that are tailored to help users learn software used in teaching, learning, and scholarship.

 Get One-on-One Software Help 5 Days a Week

Come anytime during our Drop-in Open Lab hours to get help with a project or have your software training questions answered by one of our trainers.

Daytime lab hours during the 2009–2010 academic year are Tuesdays from 1:45–3:30 PM; evening hours are Sunday–Thursday from 7–10 PM.

We hold these sessions in the Harrington Learning Commons, Sobrato Technology Center, and Orradre Library. Daytime hours are in the Training and Instruction Lab 203, while evening hours are at the Help Desk and the Multimedia Lab directly in front of the desk. The Labs are equipped with machines that run Mac OS X and Windows XP and include: Microsoft Office 2003 and 2007 and Office 2004 for the Mac, Adobe CS 3, Second Life, SciFinder, and more.
