Excel 2011: Basics

Do you need to get up and running with Excel 2011 fast? Are you self taught and need to know how to work this new version of software correctly? Then this hands-on Excel basics class is just for you!

  • Tour the Excel 2011 workbook - use the ribbon and menus
  • Create an Excel worksheet - enter data, format cells, use the Auto fill handle, enter a title, insert/delete rows and columns
  • Work with functions and formulas - use AutoSum, copy formulas, work with absolute and relative cell addresses
  • Format your worksheet
  • Create a chart
  • Use Page Setup and Print Preview
