Technology Training welcomes the Class of 2013 and transfer students. Below are some resources to help you get started with computing on campus.

  • iconGet One-on-One Help

Come anytime during our drop-in Open Lab hours to get help with a project or have your software training questions answered. We hold daytime sessions in the Harrington Learning Commons, Sobrato Technology Center, and Orradre Library in the Training and Instruction Labs and evening session at the first floor Information Desk.
  • iconTake a Software Class

If you need to learn how to use software for class, a project, or an internship, Technology Training offers hands-on classes for a variety of different applications. Visit our training schedule to register today. Registration is a 3-step process—remember to click the Complete Registration button on the second page. As always, our classes are free and open to all SCU students, faculty, and staff.
  • iconDrop-in Computer Labs

When not in use for instruction, the Training and Instruction Labs are open for regular computer use during business hours. The two Labs are located on the second floor of the Learning Commons in rooms 203 and 205 and are equipped with machines that run Mac OS X and Windows XP. Software includes Microsoft Office 2003 and 2004 (Mac), Adobe CS3, Second Life, SciFinder, and more.
