Major in French and Francophone Studies
Study the language, literature, and culture of France and French-speaking countries.
As a French and Francophone studies major at Santa Clara University, you will develop communication skills and learn to appreciate cultures, literatures, and cinemas of France and Francophone countries. You will have the opportunity to participate in small conversation groups of five or six students under the direction of a native speaker or any advanced major. Outside the classroom, you will be able to join the Francophone Club. Study abroad opportunities can also enhance your undergraduate experience. This training will open the doors to many professions (business, law, teaching, advertising, tourism), especially international careers.
