General Transfer Guides
We have developed a guide for prospective transfer students to help make the selection of transferable credits a little easier. We have outlined our current general education (core) requirements and provided examples of courses that satisfy each of them.
Please be aware that Santa Clara University will only accept transferable units from institutions that are accredited by any of the following regional accreditation agencies: MSACS, NEASC, NCAS, NCCU, WASC, and SACS.
Note: Santa Clara University will be implementing new general education requirement curricula beginning fall 2009. This will affect some transfer students beginning in 2010. Applicants considering transferring in fall 2010 who have junior standing will still be able to use the current transfer guidelines. Applicants for fall 2010, who have sophomore standing and below, will need to check our Web site for updates – Summer 2009.
