Custom Render Handlers

Multiple display options are available for many of the elements within Commonspot.  These display options are referred to as "render handlers", and can be selected from the Element Properties menu.

In the following example, the Content Well Subsite List element has been added.  The default render handler for this element is the "table of contents" display; a table with link titles and descriptions.

A second Subsite List element follows, and in this case the "Bulleted List" render handler has been applied.

Custom Render Handlers aren't available for all elements, but are usually supplied for custom elements that select data for display on multiple pages, such as the Event Calendar, Press Release, and Profile elements.
