Color

Color palettes carry Santa Clara University's brand across all promotional materials from print collateral to the Web site.

Color is one of the most basic components used to establish brands. These color palettes maximize brand recognition and consistency of user experience for SCU-branded sites.

Primary Color Palette

The primary color palette compliments the established SCU print collateral color palette. Use these colors when creating any new pages within SCU-branded sites. Use colors "full strength" predominantly on the SCU home page.

Call-to-Action Color Palette

Call-to-Action elements grab attention through the use of custom graphical devices. When designing promotions, only use colors from the approved Call-to-Action Palette. It derives from the SCU approved color palette and is designated specifically for Call-to-Action elements. Note that the Call-to-Action Palette has an additional color. Do not use this palette for other elements within the SCU Web site.
