Pouya Shahbazian J.D. ’03 was profiled in The Hollywood Reporter. He is a manager-producer at New Leaf Literary & Media, a management/production business that includes the hotly anticipated film Divergent, based on a YA novel Shahbazian discovered and placed at Summit. (He has a producer credit). Among his other high-profile sales: Patrick Lee's Runner to Warner Bros. with Justin Lin directing, and Leigh Bardugo's Shadow and Boneto DreamWorks.
Gov. Jerry Brown ’59 announced the appointment of Gary L. Moorhead ’72 to a judgeship in the Orange County Superior Court. Moorhead, 63, of Laguna Niguel, has been a managing partner at Pohlson and Moorhead LLP since 1980. He was an associate at Schell and Delamer from 1976 to 1980. Moorhead earned a Juris Doctor degree from Southwestern School of Law and a Bachelor of Science degree from Santa Clara University.
Sarah Bonini J.D. '93 has joined the Campus Ministry staff as senior administrative assistant. Sarah has a long history with SCU, beginning with her work in Orradre Library in 1989. She served as a resident director for several years as well, and most recently worked with the Northern California Innocence Project as project manager since 2010. We are thrilled to have her share her administrative and pastoral gifts with our team.
