  • Vote for Ethics: A How-to Guide for Voters
    Sept. 10 – Nov. 6, 2018 (1-3 hours total at your convenience)
    Looking for new tools to help you identify ethical candidates? Presented by the Markkula Center for Applied Ethics, the "Vote for Ethics - A How-to Guide for Voters" online course, exclusively for SCU alumni, provides expert knowledge to help you identify what comprises ethical political communications and campaign promises. It also gives you an understanding of the ethical issues involved in raising and spending campaign funds, and insight into the structure and culture of a candidate's organization. Upon completion of the course, you will receive a badge to show everyone you're going to vote for ethics!
  • Raising Ethical Children and Teens
    May 21 – July 29, 2018 (3-4 hours total at your convenience)
    Looking for practical information about how to best promote ethical decision-making and behavior in children and teens? Presented by the Markkula Center for Applied Ethics, the "Raising Ethical Children and Teens" online course, exclusively for SCU alumni, aims to promote understanding of the ethical issues that children and teens grapple with and provides practical information about how to best promote ethical decision-making and behavior. You'll also earn a badge and a letter of completion to show your children you're in the know!
  • Ethics for Managers and Executives
    Jan. 14 – Feb. 28, 2018 (8-9 hours total at your convenience)

    Looking for a professional development opportunity to infuse Santa Clara values into your corporate life and the way you lead others at work? Presented by the Markkula Center for Applied Ethics, this "Ethics for Managers and Executives" course, exclusively for SCU alumni, provides an overview of the role of managers and executives in shaping the ethics of an organization. It also gives you an understanding of the nature of ethics, the role ethics plays in business, and the most commonly encountered ethical dilemmas in the life of a manager or executive. You'll also earn a badge and a letter of completion that you can share to impress your boss!
