3-Point Thursday
- Let the Games Begin! Gear up for the Tokyo Olympics by learning about notable SCU athletes who went on to compete in the Games. (Did you know a Bronco won two gold medals in rugby?). Read their inspiring stories in the latest “Arthur’s Attic” archival blog post.
- More Bronco Pride: Three Santa Clara alumni are making play calls for the Games that kick off Friday and run through August 8. Lloyd Pierce ’98 will be in Tokyo serving as an assistant coach for the U.S. men’s basketball team, and Jack Benjamin ’18 will be in Stamford, Connecticut with NBC Sports as a play-by-play announcer. Jack will get to call the first gold medal of the Games in the women’s 10-meter air rifle competition. Danielle Slaton ’02 will also be calling women's soccer from Stamford.
- Stay in the Know: Excitement is building for the great events and programming happening at SCU this academic year (Grand Reunion, anyone?). Catch up on the latest information about in-person opportunities near you, as well as virtual programming, by providing your current contact information. Don’t read about it after the fact on another Bronco’s social feed—update your information and be part of the fun »
