We Are Not Standing Still
As SCU resumes classes and looks toward the end of the academic year, University President Kevin O’Brien, S.J., reminds us of the incredible resilience of the Santa Clara community. “We may be sheltering in place,” he says, “but we are not standing still.” Today, Fr. O’Brien will begin a new video series called “Bridging the Distance” that will feature glimpses of campus; brief interviews with faculty, staff, and alumni; and some spiritual reflections. Spiritual Growth and Service
Make the Most of Serving Others
To protect the health and safety of our communities, we have moved our April Month of Service to November. Look for new volunteer opportunities in the coming months. In the meantime, you can support your community from afar: call an elderly friend or family member, send a note to brighten someone’s day, or contact your local food bank to find ways to help.
Nurture Your Spiritual Side
When times are hard and the future is unknown, our faith often becomes a source of strength. Visit our Alumni Spiritual Opportunities webpage to discover ideas to support quiet contemplation, fellowship, and faith building during this unique time.
