Making it Right
Nearly 20 years ago, sports agent Bill Duffy ’82 made a mistake—he failed to notify the Miami Heat that his client, NBA player Anthony Carter, wanted to exercise his player option to stay in Miami. Advancing Racial Justice
Over the past six months, the Alumni Association has taken meaningful steps to build a truly diverse, equitable, and inclusive alumni family. To that end, we created an extensive website to share updates and available resources. Our efforts dovetail with Santa Clara University’s commitment to advancing racial justice on campus—a commitment that can be tracked through a comprehensive dashboard developed by the Office for Diversity and Inclusion.

A Life Remembered
The University mourns the loss of Jerry Alexanderson, Professor Emeritus in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, who passed away Dec. 16. Prof. Alexanderson began his tenure at SCU in 1958 and spent the next 60 years sharing his breadth of knowledge, love of teaching, and passion for mathematics with students and faculty. He will be greatly missed, and his impact on campus will be fondly remembered. Read more »
