Artist's Statement

As a female artist, I am implored to show the power and beauty of the female form in the nude, in the ways, I believe, women actually want to be represented. To accomplish this, I have photographed various female forms, giving the women I shoot agency to express themselves freely. Through this body of work, I work to reveal how the female body is a piece of art, by encouraging the viewers to focus on the more abstract curvatures, lines, and minute details that are so often overlooked.
