Edward M. Dowd Art and Art History Building
The Edward M. Dowd Art and Art History Building will provide a cutting-edge environment to foster the integration of creativity and innovation through the study and practice of art.
The design of the building, including its dramatic dome with circular walkway and outdoor sculpture garden, together with other important amenities, will inspire student, faculty, and community engagement. When it opens in 2016, the Edward M. Dowd Art and Art History Building will integrate 45,422 square feet of centralized, state-of-the art studio, classroom, gallery, and other space for faculty, students, and visiting artists and scholars.
