Studio Art Major Placed 10th in Ironman World Championship

Our very own Alex Rossetti, a Studio Art Major competed in the Iron Man World Championship in Kona, HI this pass weekend and placed 10th in the Men's 18-24 aged division and was the first American of that group to finish. Rossetti completed the race in just under 10 hours. The Iron Man competition consists of a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike ride and 26.2 mile run. This was Rossetti's 2nd Iron Man and Kona debut. Overall, Rossetti placed 391st, 80 of those ahead were professionals. Rossetti is also a member of the Triathalon Club at Santa Clara University.
