Andrea Pappas Awarded NEH Fellowship

Associate Professor Andrea Pappas received a four-month residential research fellowship from the National Endowment for the Humanities to study at the Winterthur Museum, Garden and Library in Delaware. During the fall, Pappas will research a chapter of her book, Embroidering The Landscape. The chapter, "Contested Landscapes," looks at eighteenth-century American pictorial embroideries from an ecocritical and environmental history perspective.
