As Athletic Trainer, Cembellin made sure the Broncos were always ready for competition. Beginning his time with the Broncos in 1977, Cembellin worked as the medical facilitator for NCAA baseball, soccer, basketball, and football championship events. He also provided medical care at the Collegiate National Boxing Championship finals. Cembellin acknowledges that his most exciting event as the trainer was the Broncos 1st round upset of the University of Arizona during the 1993 NCAA Basketball Championship Tournament. In 2017, Cembellin was inducted into the Hall of Fame as the trainer for the 1992-93 and 1995-96 Men’s Basketball teams.
