Pete Eisenrich played for legendary coaches Carroll Williams and Dick Davey from 1991-1994. The 6’9 forward led the Broncos to victory in an unforgettable game against #2 seeded Arizona in the first round of the 1993 NCAA Tournament. During the game, he scored 19 points, grabbed 8 rebounds, blocked a career-best 4 shots, and helped put Wildcats star Chris Mills in foul trouble midway through the second half. Eisenrich was named to the All-West Coast Conference First Team following the 1992-93 season after averaging 14.3 points and 6.2 rebounds per game and shooting 48 percent from the field. Not to mention, his 3.67 grade-point average made him a Second Team GTE All-American. Eisenrich goes down in Santa Clara history as one of the greats during an era that Santa Clara Basketball fans will never forget.
